Leipzig, 22.04.2021. Due to the Corona pandemic, the "Höffner neuseen classics" cycling event has to be postponed again. The new situation around change of the infection protection law of the federation, leaves here meanwhile no more room for maneuver. Also a scenario as originally thought, to test all participants, will not be able to be substantial enough with the current Corona framework conditions, in order to be able to illustrate the further planning and then also conversion realistically. By the time of the cancellation, almost 1,200 cyclists from all over Germany had registered for the event originally planned for May 30 for the various distances.

The much discussed "emergency brake" thus becomes a full stop for the "Höffner neuseen classics". All considerations and scenarios are void barely 6 weeks before the race, if the superordinate legal basis excludes regional model projects.
