Exit 23 Leipzig-Mitte, signposted Leipzig-Mitte/ B2 (Maximilianallee) stay on B2 (Rackwitzer Straße) after approx. 7 km turn right onto B2/ B6/ B87 (Brandenburger Straße) stay on B2 (Ludwig-Erhard-Straße)turn left onto B2 (Prager Straße) until Alte Messe turn right onto Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße and immediately left again to stay on Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße, destination reached.

via A9:

Exit 17 Leipzig-West, merge onto B181 (Merseburger Chaussee) continue on B87 (Merseburger Straße), after approx. 2 km turn left onto B87 (Lützner Straße) continue on B87 to the train station (see directions to train station).

via A38:

Exit 31 Leipzig-Süd, merge onto B2 towards Markkleeberg Exit Richard-Lehmann-Straße/ B2 after approx. 1.5 km turn left onto Zwickauer Straße 2. turn right towards Perlickstraße,1. turn left to merge onto Perlickstraße, destination reached.

from the main station:

Coming from the B6/ B87, change to Georgiring (towards the city), after approx. 500 m turn left onto Grimmaischer Steinweg, after approx. 200 m turn slightly right onto Johannisplatz, continue on Prager Straße, after approx. 500 m turn right onto Johannisallee, after approx. 800 m turn left onto Straße des 18. Oktober Straße, continue to follow, destination reached.

Arrival from the airport:

The airport Leipzig / Halle is located about 20 kilometers from the main station directly at the intersection of the A14 and the A9. You can then easily get to the city center and the "Alte Messe" with your rental car. The airport Leipzig-Halle is also connected to the rail network of the Deutsche Bahn, so you can quickly drive here in the direction of Leipzig city center.

Arrival by train:

Leipzig Central Station is the largest terminus station in Europe in terms of area. It is located directly in the heart of the city center and is the hub of central German local and long-distance traffic. Thanks to the optimal north-south connection, you can easily reach Leipzig by ICE train from Hamburg via Berlin as well as from Munich. For information on connections and prices, please contact Deutsche Bahn AG at www.bahn.de.

Please note that special conditions apply to the transport of bicycles. You can find out all the information about this either under the following link Travel by train & bike or by calling the cyclist hotline of Deutsche Bahn AG 0180 6 99 66 33.

Once you arrive at the main train station, the distance to the Alte Messe is about 4 kilometers. To get to the event site or your accommodation, you can use public transport. The streetcar lines 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and the bus lines 72, 73, 89, 100, 131, 190, 196, 197, 412, 690, 691 stop directly at the main station.

The best way to get from the main station to the event site at the Alte Messe is to take the TRAM 15 (direction Leipzig, Meusdorf) to the stop Leipzig, Altes Messegelände. From there it is a 10 minute walk. You can also find information about the individual timetables and connections on the website of the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe at www.lvb.de.

You can reach the event site at the Alte Messe by S-Bahn either from the Völkerschlachtdenkmal stop (S1 and S3) or from the MDR stop (all S-Bahn lines). Bicycles are also free of charge with an MDV ticket. All information about the timetable and prices can be found here.

Important: You can register several starters online with one registration. Minors require the written consent of their legal representatives for registration. Informal registrations by mail, fax or e-mail will not be accepted.

EVERYONE RACE

Helmets are compulsory for every participant. Prerequisite for participation is a technically completely intact, two-wheeled bicycle.
For safety reasons are NOT allowed at the Jedermannrennen:

  • Disc wheels
  • Unicycles
  • Triathlon handlebars, horn or detail handlebars
  • Handlebar attachments of all kinds
  • recumbents, handbikes, electric bikes of all kinds, tandems
  • Track bikes/singlespeeds/fixies (only permitted with two independent brakes and freewheel hub)
  • Attachments that pose a safety risk (protruding bike racks, pegs, etc.)
  • Bicycle trailers of all types
  • Panniers and other payloads
  • Backpacks (except drinking backpacks)
  • Bottle cage behind or under the saddle
  • Drinking bottles made of aluminum, glass or hard plastic and other materials that are fragile

For the bike marathon nsc212 there is no restriction regarding the bike. The bike must of course be roadworthy. The bike marathon nsc212 is not a classification race. For reasons of traceability, all participants will be equipped with electronic transponders.

The event area is barrier-free accessible. On the entire course and especially in the start/finish area, the course crossings will be manned by stewards so that it is possible to cross the course here.

Here you can find the results of the "neuseen classics" from previous years.

The results will be published on the website on the day of the event. During the event will also be displayed live on the LED walls.

On the event site at the "Alte Messe" there are numerous options for you to park your "race bike". Please use the permanently installed bike racks along the finishing straight and the "bike parking lot" in front of the registration office.

Does your company attach great importance to joint sports and company health management? The best conditions to be at the start with your team. You can register in the classic way via the normal registration or you can book one of our company packages. If you wish, we can offer you all services from one source, including training and preparation for the competition(s) with experienced personal trainers and professional athletes from our network.

Each participant will be honored with a high-quality finisher medal. There will be different medals for all distances.

It is pointed out that photographs and/or videos will be taken at the venue and may be published for the purpose of documenting and promoting the event. By registering/participating in the event, I acknowledge that photographs and video footage of me will be used for press coverage and published in various (social) media, publications and on websites of the organizer. The entire event day will be accompanied by the team of Sportographers.

Checkrooms are available on the premises and are located in the registration office. You can hand in any items there that you do not need for the race.

The collection of the starting documents must take place at the latest 30min before the start.

Late entries at the appropriate rate are still possible on the event weekend. A fee of 10,- Euro will be charged at the registration office for changing the course and registering a substitute participant. You can find the registration office on the site plan

The start and finish area is located on the grounds of the "Alte Messe" at the end of "Straße des 18. Oktober". There is no designated parking lot for participants. We recommend using the surrounding parking facilities at the Völkerschlachtdenkmal, Richard-Lehmann-Straße, Zwickauer Straße and Puschstraße. Please pay attention to no stopping signs as well as designated paid parking spaces. We assume no liability for parking tickets.

For the races nsc60 and nsc100 the rules of the German Cycling Cup apply.

We move with our event in the public traffic area. Even if the route is closed, there may be oncoming traffic. Police, rescue and emergency vehicles of the fire department can enter the track in both directions at any time. Other road users may also enter the track unexpectedly. Therefore, please always keep to the right. Those who do not keep the minimum speed of 25 km/h will have to continue the race according to the StVO.

The award ceremonies will take place according to the schedule. The best three women, men and teams will be honored. In addition, the best age group (men and women separately) will be honored.

In addition, each starter will receive a certificate, a high-quality finisher medal and a starter bag.

  • the starting line-up takes place in the marked blocks (block A-D)
  • in which block you start, you will find out in the week before the event in the start list
  • follow the instructions of the security personnel
  • please refrain from dangerous driving maneuvers on the home stretch
  • Do not stop after crossing the finish line, leave the finish area quickly.

Start block changes can only be made on site at the registration office, so please avoid requests in advance.

  • the saddle number contains your transponder for time measurement and is to be attached to the seat post
  • Transponder does not have to be returned
  • there will not be a handlebar number

Note: The start number is only valid for the registered competition. A change or passing on of the start number leads to disqualification.

You must bring:

  • your ticket/start pass (digital or printed)

  • your saddle number incl. one-way transponder
  • your starting bag

The entire race track of the "neuseen classics" #nsc60 and #nsc212 is completely cordoned off and secured at the critical points by stewards and the local police.

To be included in the team ranking, at least three of you must register under the same team name. Only the best three in the team will be scored.

Important: You can register multiple starters online with one registration.

There will be mobile toilets available for you at the event area at the "Alte Messe".

Shower facilities as well as checkrooms are located in the finish area of the event site (Alte Messe Leipzig).

Each participant will receive one for download and can additionally print it out on site at the registration office.

The transfer of the starting place to the following year is only possible once for health reasons, but only upon presentation of a medical certificate. A processing fee of €10 will be charged.

The transfer of the starting place to a substitute starter also costs a processing fee of €10.

After the race there will be refreshments available for you in the start/finish area - see map.

Should the event be changed or cancelled due to force majeure, weather conditions, official orders, safety risks or other reasons, the participant has no right to a refund of the entry fees or to compensation for other material damages, in particular travel or hotel costs. This does not apply if the organizer is responsible for the cancellation or change of the event due to intent or gross negligence. If the event is cancelled for the reasons mentioned above, the organizer will name a replacement date. All purchased tickets remain valid.
