The Leipzig Monument to the Battle of the Nations can be reached from Leipzig main station with the suburban trains 1, 2, 3 & 4. Furthermore, a journey with the streetcar 15 from the main station in the direction of Meusdorf is possible.

The event area is barrier-free accessible. On the entire course and especially in the start/finish area, the course crossings will be manned by stewards so that it is possible to cross the course here.

It is pointed out that photographs and/or videos will be taken at the venue and may be published for the purpose of documenting and promoting the event. By registering/participating in the event, I acknowledge that photographs and video footage of me will be used for press coverage and published in various (social) media, publications and on websites of the organizer.
The entire event day will be accompanied by the sports photographers. After the event the pictures will be made available to you. You decide yourself if you buy your picture set via Sportograf for a small amount.
The changing area is located directly at the registration office. Toilets are also marked on the event site.

Der offizielle Parkplatz für den LEIPZIG RUN ist beim HORNBACH Leipzig – Alte Messe,

From there it is about a 10-minute walk to the event site.
Additional parking is also available in the Alte Messe area. Parking spaces are also available at the Kohlrabizirkus(An den Tierkliniken 42, 04103 Leipzig). We kindly ask the participants of the DECATHLON LEIPZIG RUN not to park directly on the parking lot in front of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal. This will also be accessible to tourists throughout the event and visitors to the Völkerschlachtdenkmal should also be able to park directly there.
NOTE: Please note the parking ban. We do not assume any costs for parking tickets, etc.
We are moving with our event in the public space. And although we do not affect the public road traffic, day tourists and residents can be on the adjacent bike and hiking trails. Even if the residents have been informed about the event and stewards are positioned at the neuralgic points, we ask you to be considerate. The instructions of the security personnel must be followed in any case.
We also ask that you do not throw trash such as drinking cups, gel or bar wrappers into the environment. Anyone caught doing this will be given a one minute time penalty.
The top three women and men will be honored. In addition, the first places in the age groups above #LEIPZIG10k and #LEIPZIG21k (men and women separately) will be honored.
Für den Elldus Bambini-Lauf und den kindermobil24 KIDS RUN werden alle Kinder nach dem Lauf auf der Bühne geehrte, hier wird es keine Ehrung nach Platzierungen geben.
The start/finish area is located "An der Tabaksmühle" directly in front of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal Leipzig. The starting line-up for the #LEIPZIG21k will be at 10:50 am. Please arrive at the starting area on time. There are the following starting blocks:
A - Elite under 1:30h
B - from 1:30h
C - from 1:45h
D - from 2:00h
E - from 2:15h
F - from 2:30h
There will be no starting blocks for the #LEIPZIG10k, all participants will be in the starting area at 8:50 am.
You will receive your starting documents there during the opening hours of the registration office. To collect your documents, please bring your ticket in printed or digital form. Another person can also pick up the starting documents for friends with a power of attorney. You will receive your start number from us, which also has your transponder on it. This will be used to measure your time. You will also receive your starter bag and safety pins from us.
The entire running course is completely cordoned off and secured at the neuralgic points or entrances with stewards and the local police. In addition, medical care is guaranteed.
There will be enough mobile toilets available on the event area "An der Tabaksmühle". Showers and toilets are marked accordingly.
Der Umkleidebereich befindet direkt beim Meldebüro. Die Kleiderabgabe ist von 07:30 – 14:30 Uhr geöffnet.
Each participant will receive his certificate for download as well as printed on site in the registration office.
On the running course there is a refreshment point at kilometers 3.7km, 8.2km, 13.0km, 16.0km and 21.1km. There are also toilets at each aid station.
The finish food includes water, cola, spritzer, bananas and apples.
Should the event be changed or cancelled due to force majeure, weather conditions, official orders, safety risks or other reasons, the participant has no right to a refund of the entry fees or to compensation for other material damages, in particular travel or hotel costs. This does not apply if the organizer is responsible for the cancellation or change of the event due to intent or gross negligence. If the event is cancelled for the reasons mentioned above, the organizer will name a replacement date. All purchased tickets remain valid.

A flat rate of 10 euros will be charged for processing, depending on whether you receive a credit note as a result of the distance change or whether an additional payment is necessary, the 10 euros will also be offset or added.
For the offered competitions only the DLV age groups (from age group 2006 and older) are valid. The classes will be separated by gender (men and women). The following age groups will be honored:
The classification of runners and walkers will not be separated. The start will be together. Younger participants (after 2006) on the half marathon distance need the written confirmation of the legal guardians with the declared consent to participate.
According to DLV guidelines, the top 10 will be ranked by finish (gross time). All other results are sorted according to net times in the internet results service.
Sofern Du zum LEIPZIG RUN nicht antrittst oder deine Teilnahme absagst, verstehen wir diese Absage als Verzicht auf dein Startrecht. In dem Fall hast du keinen Anspruch auf Erstattung der Teilnahmegebühren. Bei Krankheit oder Verletzung übertragen wir aus Kulanz mit entsprechenden Nachweis (ärztliches Attest) deinen Startplatz auf das darauffolgende Jahr. Nutze dafür bitte folgendes Formular. Dafür stellen wir dir eine Bearbeitungspauschale in Höhe von 10 Euro in Rechnung. Eine Startplatzübertragung auf das Folgejahr aus genanntem Grund ist einmalig möglich. Jederzeit kannst Du Deinen Startplatz auf einen anderen Teilnehmer übertragen, die Umbuchungsgebühr dazu beträgt 10 Euro. Wenn Du dies machen möchtest, nutze dafür bitte dieses Formular. Es können ausschließlich Übertragungen bearbeitet werden, die per Formular eingereicht werden.
If you cannot participate in your booked sports event due to a permanent serious injury, crippling, own death (claim will be claimed by the heirs here) or due to pregnancy, we will refund your participation fees as a gesture of goodwill.
On October 12, very experienced time runners (1:30 / 1:45 / 2:00 / 2:15 / 2:30) will be at your disposal for the #LEIPZIG21k. You will find signs with the finish times at the starting line. The time runners are of course also marked accordingly.
