Information for residents and commercial neighbors

Here you will find an overview of the necessary closures due to the "LEIPZIG RUN". You can also use the full text search to look for specific street names that are part of the route and therefore fully closed for the event. For special questions please contact 0341-22171570.

 

In Güldengossa there will be the following traffic restrictions. Road closures will generally be in place from 06:00 - 15:00. The run will pass through Güldengossa in the time of: 10:30 - 11:40.

The following streets are specifically affected:

  • Güldengossa street
  • Liebertwolkwitzer Street

After the participants have passed through at around 11:40 a.m., the blocking measures in Güldengossa will be lifted immediately.

Please observe the respective no-stopping zones and detour signs. If you as a resident are directly affected by the closures and need to use your vehicle on the day of the event, please park it outside the route.

Please also follow the instructions and directions of the police and law enforcement officers.

The following disruptions will occur in public transportation:

  • Regional bus: Line 141 (9:10 & 13:10: no service between Güldengossa - Probstheida; departure from/to stop Meusdorf - Line 15 runs as scheduled)

Güldengossa can be reached without restrictions via the Auenhainer Straße coming from the S242 (including freeway connection).

The following traffic restrictions will occur in Liebertwolkwitz. Road closures will generally be in place from 06:00 - 15:00. The run will pass through Liebertwolkwitz in the time of: 10:40 - 12:20.

The following streets are specifically affected:

  • Güldengossa street
  • Borna street

After the field of participants has passed through at around 12:20 p.m., the blocking measures in Liebertwolkwitz will be lifted immediately.

Please observe the respective no-stopping zones and detour signs. If you as a resident are directly affected by the closures and need to use your vehicle on the day of the event, please park it outside the route.

Please also follow the instructions and directions of the police and law enforcement officers.

The following disruptions will occur in public transportation:

  • Regional bus: Line 690 (8 am - 1 pm traffic only between Grimma - Meusdorf: Line 15 runs as scheduled / Liebertwolkwitz without interference)

In the area of Wachau, Auenhain and Markkleeberger See there will be the following traffic restrictions.

Road closures are generally set up from 06:00 - 15:00. The run goes along here in the time from: 10:15 - 11:20.

The following streets are specifically affected:

  • Bornaer Chaussee
  • Apelsteinallee
  • Cröben way
  • At the hollow
  • August-Bebel-Siedlung
  • Markkleeberger Street
  • Crostewitz Street
  • Upper bank path
  • Paddle trail
  • White water bend
  • At the silver shaft
  • Güldengossa street

After the participants have passed through at around 11:20 a.m., the roadblocks in Wachau, at Markkleeberger See and Auenhain will be lifted immediately.

Please note in the graphic the possibility to cross the route at a police lock at certain points:

  • Wachau: Passage Markkleeberger Straße (height Wiesenstraße)
  • Auenhain: passage Bornaer Chaussee (height Am Silberschacht - Güldengossaer Straße)

The canoe park, the lake park Auenhain, the climbing park and the model park Auenhain can be reached via Bornaer Chaussee.

  • Regional bus: line 106 (8 am - 1 pm: departure from Auenhain Kanupark)
  • Call bus 108 (5:30-9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: operates only between Wachau, Atlanta Hotel and Meusdorf / 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. all trips are cancelled)
  • Regional bus: Line 141 (9:10 a.m. and 1:10 p.m.: no service between Güldengossa - Probstheida; departure from/to stop Meusdorf)

There will be the following traffic restrictions in the city of Leipzig. Road closures will generally be in place from 06:00 - 15:00. The bike race will pass through the city of Leipzig in the time from: 10:00 - 13:30.

The following streets are specifically affected:

  • Prague street
  • Chemnitz street
  • Tollweg
  • Gortschakoffweg
  • Osten-Sacken-Weg
  • Zolaweg
  • Schwarzenbergweg
  • Old Fair area

After the participants have passed through at around 1:30 p.m., the roadblocks in the city of Leipzig will be lifted immediately.

Please note in the graphic the possibility to cross the route at a police lock at certain points:

  • Intersection Gorbitzer Straße/ Höltystraße on Chemnitzer Straße

The following disruptions will occur in public transportation:

  • Bus: Line 70 (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.: detour from A.-Hoffmann-/ R.-Lehmann-Str. to Technisches Rathaus via Kurt Eisner Str.)
  • Bus: Line 75 (5-15 h: departure from Nieritzstr., bus turnaround Probstheida, Höltystraße, Gottfried-Keller-Straße is not served)
  • Bus: Line 76 (5-14:45: departure from Nieritzstr., bus turnaround Probstheida is not served)
  • Bus: Line 79 (9-15: runs only between Südfriedhof & Thekla)
  • Call bus 108 (5:30-9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: operates only between Wachau, Atlanta Hotel and Meusdorf / 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. all trips are cancelled)
  • Regional bus: Line 141 (9:10 & 13:10: no service between Güldengossa - Probstheida; departure from/to stop Meusdorf)
  • Regional bus: line 690 (8-13 o'clock traffic only between Grimma - Meusdorf)
  • Streetcar: Line 15 runs as scheduled
