Leipzig, 06.05.2021. Registration is now open for the "Half Marathon Leipzig // LEIPZIG21k", which will take place on October 31, 2021. Last year, the popular run had to be canceled due to the Corona pandemic. For this year, the implementation with half marathon, the half marathon relay and children's runs is planned again in the fall.

There are a total of 5,555 starting places for the half marathon. As in previous years, the major sports event will take place with start and finish at the foot of the historic Monument to the Battle of the Nations. The running course leads over the former battlefields of the Battle of Nations in 1813. The special feature of the "Half Marathon Leipzig // LEIPZIG21k" is the combination of culture and European history with the actual sporting event. On the entire running course the history of 1813 will be re-enacted, for the running participants the motto "Experience history while running" becomes reality.

Until May 31, 2021, you can still register at a discounted Early Bird rate; individual registration costs 40 euros, half marathon relay registration costs 50 euros and children's registration costs 5 euros.
