Cancellation 24h race VELOFONDO 2022
Leipzig/Lausitz, 31.03.2022. After the event could not take place in the last two years due to corona, the organizer maximalPULS must cancel the VELOFONDO24h this year again. Due to the unclear corona situation in recent weeks and months, there was unfortunately a greater reluctance in the necessary registrations. The registered participants of the 24h bike race will get their entry fee back or can transfer the entry place to 2023. As a date is then a weekend in August or September 2023 planned.
However, the 68km Everyman race will still take place on April 16, 2022. The 11.3km flat circuit offers a very special driving experience on the unique race track. Registrations for the Everyman Race are possible online for 50 euros until the day of the event.
In addition, the organizer together with DEKRA would like to set an example and support the refugees from Ukraine. There will be a one-time rally from the surrounding area to the DEKRA Lausitzring. The proceeds of the rally will go 100% to an organization to help the refugees from Ukraine. Registration for the rally starts next week.
